The different car parks in the medieval town



To the camping-cars & visitors:


- In May & June:
Since Provins is greatly prized by the school complexes, we advise the camping-cars to avoid coming in Provins from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The coach park being more significant than usual.

- During the Medieval Festival of Provins (2nd weekend in June):
The parking near the Tourist Office is exceptionally closed for the festival.
A free parking for campers will be at your disposal from Thursday before, until the end of the festival.
To find this area, please  follow the signs from the Tourist Office throw town (shower, WC, but no water and no electricity).
For all visitors, free parkings and shuttles will be at your disposal. Remember the parking number to take back the right shuttle.

- In November:
The Saint-Martin's Fair is a famous festival which take place every 11 November. It is a large commercial fair with a fun fair all week round. That's why from the beginning up to mid-November, the parking of the Tourist Office welcomes stallholders.

Parking in the Upper Town (the Châtel):


There is a vast parking for cars, camping-cars, motos and buses.

It is paying on weekends, public holidays and extra days from 28 March to 1 November 2015, and on order of the mayor.
It is free the safe rest of the year except for buses, paying 7/7.
Campers have at their disposal an area with two RV dump stations.

Prices:

Cars: 4 € for the day - 2 € for the half-day (from 1 p.m.).
Camping-cars: 8 € per day (24h).
Buses: 20 € for the day.
Free for motos.

Parking in Downtown (the Val):


Free parking:

- 178 spaces between the Saint-Ayoul church and the Cultural and sports center of Saint Ayoul.

- About 400-500 spaces, on the Place du 29e Dragons and in the Avenue Alain Peyreffite, close to the police station.

- 129 spaces, in the Rue Sainte Croix, close to the sub-prefecture.

- 76 spaces, on the Place du Cloître, close to the Bell Tower of Notre-Dame-du-Val.



Paying parking:

- 63 spaces, on the Place de la Résistance et de la Déportation, close to the Sainte-Croix church.

- 52 spaces, on the Place Honoré de Balzac.

- About 300 spaces in the Downtown, in the main streets as Rue de la Friperie, Rue de la Cordonnerie, etc.
