Accompanied by a guide, the visit “Provins, Town of Medieval Fair” reveals you the history of the fortified city. The circuit takes you in unusual venues and must-see places, showcasing the opulence of a military, civil and religious heritage. The considerable influence on economic, business and cultural trades in Western Europe from 11th to 13th century, together with the perfect preservation of the original urban tissue and the authenticity, make that Provins is a UNESCO World Heritage site since December of 2001o discover Provins in the company of a qualified guide and learn the secrets of the medieval city.

From 1 April to 5 November 2017: departure at 2.30 p.m. (in French only) from the Tourist Office on weekend, public holidays and extra day.

Visit Provins in a unusual and magic way during the events "Provins by candlelight" or "Magic Christmas in Provins" (in French only)!

The Tourist Office and the shopkeepers propose you three exceptional evenings that will show you the cultural heritage of Provins by candlelight.

Provins by candlelight      

• Saturday 10 & Sunday 11 December 2016.
Also in the programme: medieval and traditional market, living scene, natural ice skating ring, etc.

• Saturdays 8, 22 July & Saturday 5 August 2017.
Also in the programme: animations in the streets, music, evening show, dinner show, etc.

An original way to discover the medieval town of Provins a UNESCO World Heritage site. In group or individually. Recorded comments about the history and the main monuments of Provins available in French and in English.

Numerous stops. The whole tour lasts 30 min. The ticket is available for all day round.

The Tourist Train of Provins      

From 1 to 30 April 2017: weekends and public holidays from 11 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. (except from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.).

From 1 May to 3 September: daily from 11 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. (except from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.).

From 4 September to 5 November: weekends and public holidays form 11 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. (except from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.).

No Tourist Train on 23, 24 & 25 June, and on 26 & 27 August 2017.
On 8, 22 July & 5 August until 5 p.m.
On 10 September from 2 p.m.
No contractual information and may be modify.
